Our mission is and always has been to improve your quality of life. We realize that your health is much more than the absence of pain. It's restoring your strength and mobility to your pre-injury state so you can return to the activities you enjoy.

Deb has a passion for helping hurting people and brings over 100 hours of myofascial release (MFR) training to our practice. She has always worked in outpatient clinics but also gained experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facilities, and home care. She is a certified Graston Level 1 practitioner and licensed massage therapist. She has also taken courses with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has received a certificate of completion in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training.

Deb took her first MFR course even before she graduated from her physical therapist assistant program. After returning to Community College of Allegheny County for a massage certificate, she was invited by the program director to proctor their MFR lab for the next seven years.

These gentle, yet effective, techniques have helped to relax tight muscles, ease headaches, and relieve TMJ pain for our patients. Deb has also treated women post mastectomy, helping to restore their shoulder range of motion. She loves to coax a body back into balance with subtle, sustained pressure.

A former nonfiction book editor and IUP grad, she considers her career change "one of the best decisions of my life." Deb enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends. A published freelance writer, she authored the e-book Massage Confidential: Plan and Protect the Most Relaxing Hour of Your Week, found in Amazon's Kindle store.
